Hi, Beth,

The inside cabinet isn't wide enough for a 22-inch TV. Sorry. :(

Joe~

If you have another moment to respond to someone else :) I confused myself with the dimensions you listed.

If the ledge is folded down, could a 22" flat panel Insignia TV fit in that space?

thanks,

Hi, Nan,

I have a sister named Nan, short for Nanette.

By my measure, the upper lip is 23 inches, the cabinet structure width is 20.5 inches and the base is 22 inches.

I love this thing, and am dying to recommend it, but I don't think it will fit your space.

Best,

Joe

Hi Joe,

I was searching for reviews about this Pier 1 item - and found your post. I have a really small space that might be perfect for this piece. I desperately need the workspace. Pier 1 says that this piece is 23\ wide. If you have a moment to post a reply - I'm wondering if that includes the trim at the top/bottom of the piece. How wide is the main body of this mail center? I have a window sill in the way - leaving me with about 20 - 21\ of space to squeeze the thing into - not including the top and bottom.

I could not work full-time on a laptop, I have 2 24" monitors and a full sized keyboard/mouse. The dual monitors increase my productivity a lot.

Don't you feel restricted typing on a laptop? And since you have a laptop, why do you restrict yourself to a desk?
