About

We live at a time of great cultural, societal and global changes, with new technologies the catalyst. Suddenly, mashups happen. Often. Behind these things that fit oddly together there are stories. It is here that Joe Wilcox tells them, or interprets their meanings.

Joe is a storyteller, commentator and real Maniac (He was born and raised in Caribou, Maine). Joe is a an independent thinker and writer who constantly asks, “Why not?” He is a problem solver who lives by the basic principles of “Occam’s Razor.” His experience: Most people make most things too complicated. Joe also believes that, like nature, human endeavors should hide complexity while emphasizing simplicity.

Oddly Together is a personal storytelling project.

Joe’s day job is managing editor of Betanews.

Joe’s day job means he has much less time for Oddly Together. But he’s trying.
